Seth and his son Josiah began their entrepreneurial journey in 2014 when they launched Mountain Vapes, an online vape business that failed to get off the ground and they finally sold it for a whopping $35.

The next year they launched multiple product lines and brands (Good Idea, KK Fashions, Ancient Tree, etc.) on Shopify and Amazon.

Since 2016, Seth has consulted for and/or launched thousands of Amazon products, some of which did north of $10 million in annual sales.

Seth also consulted for Forever 21, BMW, and Amazon themselves, when they flew him to their headquarters in Seattle for a round table meeting.

Seth and Josiah flew to China multiple times to negotiate with overseas suppliers.

They also collaborated with Kevin O’Leary and trained over 10,000 Amazon sellers in how to build and launch brands on Amazon.

Seth and Josiah grew Just One Dime into a 350 staff company serving clients in over 150 countries. Seth ran frontend as CEO while Josiah ran backend as COO.

But the post-Covid international shipping crisis wreaked havoc on the supply chains and price of raw materials, resulting in Just One Dime running out of cash flow and having to file chapter 7 bankruptcy in November of 2022.

A number of Just One Dime’s clients sued Just One Dime along with Seth and Josiah.

Between bankruptcy and litigation costs, Seth and Josiah lost their savings, retirement, and vehicles. At one point they were selling furniture out of their house in order to pay for groceries.

Losing everything and starting over was humbling, but this loss taught Seth and Josiah priceless lessons about life and business.

Seth and Josiah got back on their feet, selling on Amazon and creating a business franchise template for entrepreneurs. Today they have poured the last 10 years of business success and failure into building out this boutique lead service for private equity firms.
